RM2520 server features the compute power
of the latest Quad-Core AMD Opteron™ 2300
Series processors while offering support for
configurations that require large memory
footprints. Ideal for applications requiring
large data sets, the RM2520 server provides

protection.
Leveraging the power of the AMD Opteron
2300 Series processor, enterprise customers
can now run applications faster than ever
before. The modular design allows use of
the largest 3.5” SATA drives in the industry ,
or up to 160GB internal SSD storage, while
dual integrated gigabit Ethernet ports make
the RM2520 one of the most powerful,
scalable servers available today.
Sixteen DDR2 DIMM sockets allow the full
power of the AMD Opteron processor to
be harnessed while delivering new levels
of power and performance into a dense
2U form factor. The PCI Express based
Ethernet chipset allows for maximum
network throughput. Remote management
functionality is provided through the
optional IPMI 2.0 interface.
The RM2520 server from Verari Systems
supports non-uniform memory access time
(NUMA) memory management architecture,
and supports the latest operating systems
including Red Hat® Enterprise Linux, SUSE
Linux, CentOS and more.
