Certified for use with VMware® ESX Server, the RM1257 is an ideal system for virtual machine serving and enables server consolidation while reducing operational expenses. Available with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and optional Fibre Channel HBAs, the RM1257 is designed from the ground up with virtualization in mind. The RM1257 server features the latest Quad- Core Intel® Xeon® 5400 Series processors and a 1600MHz front side bus for increased performance.

The RM1257 server is available with advanced features such as IPMI 2.0 management, KVM-IP and remote media, which allows for hardware monitoring, complete power control and software installation and maintenance to be achieved without ever having to visit the server.

Each server supports up to 64GB of fully buffered DDR2-800 ECC registered memory making it ideal for virtualization. The RM1257 provides exceptional scalability and features Intel’s Demand Based Switching and I/O AT technology, which provide increased power efficiency and network performance to meet the demanding requirements of today’s enterprise workloads.
