The VB1257 Series for the BladeRack® 2 X-Series from Verari Systems is a high performance blade system that is optimized for space-constrained enterprise computing and data center installations. The VB1257 Series servers feature the latest Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® 5400 Series processors and a 1600MHz front side bus for increased performance.

The Service Provider industry running Web 2.0 and software as a service applications and the Financial Services industry running transaction processes will benefit from faster processors, fully buffered DIMM modules, and Intel Virtualization Technology, provided by the VB1257 blade server. It is the ideal solution for a full range of memory and compute intensive applications.

Certified for use with VMware® ESX Server, the VB1257 Series is an ideal solution for virtual machine serving and enables server consolidation while reducing operational expenses. Available with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and optional Fibre Channel HBAs, the VB1257 Series is designed from the ground up with virtualization in mind.

The Verari Systems VB1257XL blade server is designed with the data center of the future in mind and is available with advanced features such as IPMI 2.0 management, KVM-IP and remote media which allows for hardware monitoring, complete power control and software installation/maintenance to be achieved without ever having to visit the server.

If more robust power and management features are required, the VB1257XT blade is available with advanced features such as redundant power inputs, blade power metering, serial console interface, remote O/S and BIOS provisioning. An integrated LCD management interface is also available in the VB1257XT, which allows for viewing blades status at a glance.

Each blade supports up to 64GB of fully buffered DDR2-800 ECC registered memory making it ideal for virtualization. The VB1257 Series blades provides exceptional scalability and features Intel’s Demand Based Switching and I/O AT Technology which provide increased power efficiency and network performance to meet the demanding requirements of today’s enterprise workloads.
