VB1550 Series (Opteron)
The Verari Systems VB1550 Series blade servers for
the BladeRack® 2 X-Series are high performance blade
systems that are engineered for space-constrained
enterprise computing and data center installations.
The VB1550 Series servers feature the latest Quad-
Core AMD Opteron 2300 Series processors and up to
a 2000MHz front side bus for increased performance.
With faster processors, DDR2 DIMM modules and
AMD Virtualization Technology, the VB1550 Series
is an ideal solution for a full range of scale out
applications such as Monte Carlo simulations.
The VB1550XT blade server is designed with the data
center of the future in mind and is available with
advanced features such as redundant power inputs,
blade power metering, serial console interface,
remote O/S and BIOS provisioning. An integrated
LCD management interface is also available in the
VB1550XT model, which allows for viewing blades
status at a glance.

The VB1550XL blade server is designed for Web 2.0
applications and high density grid server installations
and is available with an 80%+ efficient power supply
and IPMI 2.0 for system monitoring and management.
The higher density BladeRack 2 XL platform allows for
up to 72 blades per rack.
Each blade supports up to 64GB of DDR2-667 ECC
registered memory making it ideal for large memory
model applications. The VB1550 Series blade servers
provide exceptional processing power and scalability
to meet the demanding requirements of enterprise
workloads.
