WS1160XT for BladeRack 2 XT
With up to 66 blade servers equaling 264 processor
cores per platform, the BR2-XT is designed for data
center consolidation. The WS1160XT blade server
supports Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® 3300 Series
processors and is available with advanced features
such as redundant power inputs, blade power
metering, serial console interface, remote power
monitoring and O/S provisioning. Customers who

WS1160XL for BladeRack 2 XL
With up to 72 blade servers equaling 288 processor cores per platform, the BR2-XL is the densest storage and compute platform on the market. The BR2-XL provides customers with a lower cost alternative when features such as redundant power and robust management are not needed. The WS1160XL blade server supports the latest Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® 3300 Series processors and is available with an 80%+ efficient power supply and IPMI 2.0 for system monitoring and management.
The WS1160 is the ideal solution for a full range of enterprise computing or graphics intensive applications. When coupled with the Verari Systems’ Connexxus™ hosted desktop solution, IT managers will be able to deploy a high density, high performance blade-based workstation.
Connexxus compresses and converts display data, along with the USB signals used by workstation peripherals (displays, keyboards, printers and speakers), and transports this information from the data center directly to the end user via the corporate network.
Support for high quality video (up to 1920 x 1200 resolution), audio and multiple USB ports are provided using a small desktop appliance. This solution allows users to have an exceptional desktop experience while avoiding the heat, noise and space generated by high powered workstations.
